These pleasant little flowers are bird's-foot-trefoil, and are another find from a walk around Rawcliffe Lake in York.
One thing that lockdown has achieved is that I have spent more time exploring places very close to home, places that I normally take for granted.
Rawcliffe Lake is an artificial lake excavated in the 1980's to help with land drainage when the massive Clifton Moor housing, shopping and industrial development took place. Over time it has evolved and now has quite a number of plant species around it's shores.
Gorgeous. Nice to hear it has so much wildlife there. I used to cycle past that way when I went into York from my home in Skelton. You are so right, Lockdown makes you appreciate new things in your local area or old things in greater depth.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
It's surprising how attractive some of our wild flowers (that we often ignore) can be.
