Looking Up

I'm not quite sure why I looked up at this particular place, but I was intrigued to see the large numbers of branches at this side of this Scots Pine tree. Part of the effect is the compression created by the zoom lens, but still there do seem to be a lot of branches. I rather liked the effect, I hope that you do as well.

My first thought on this shot was that it reminds me of one of the many armed / legged monsters from a vintage 1950s Sci-fi film!
