It is quite amazing how it is possible to walk past something many times without really noticing it, and then suddenly, one day....
These moss covered rocks form part of a low wall in the Museum Gardens, York, and I've never really looked at it before. Perhaps it was the low angle of the sun highlighting the moss that caught my eye a few days ago as I walked towards the Edible Garden, but I rather liked the effect of the light on the moss.

This shot certainly highlights the idea that going back to places that you know well can still provide new photo opportunities. I've probably walked through the Museum Gardens hundreds of times, but this shot is different from anything I've taken on previous visits.
