After our success in finding the fishing cat in the grounds of Middletons Hotel, we went to the Museum Gardens to find the last of the ghosts, the falcon.
On previous visits we had been looking for it to be perched on a tree branch, but had since learned that it was in flight, which changed the way that we looked. Then we had a bit of luck, and saw someone taking a photo of it!
Remarkably it was just above one of the paths where we regularly walk. We must have passed close to it on quite a few occasions. It was hidden in plain sight!
Anyway, the falcon sweeping past the tree, as if towards its prey, was the final ghost that we had to find. The 25 ghosts have proved an interesting and enjoyable challenge. Some were obvious and in plain sight, while others, like this one, were far more challenging.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
We were quite pleased to tie up the loose end of finding the last two ghost sculptures. Now all I need is to find a real falcon and get a shot in a pose like this!
