We had an 8 hour Westjet flight delay in Fort Lauderdale. They had to fly an empty plane from Toronto to pick us up. Thankful to the pilots and staff that were on call who answered the plea for help and got us home.
That's a pretty long delay - do believe airlines are sure getting worse about things like that. Had the same thing happen to us in Buffalo where they had to fly an empty plane in. Discouraging.
