That HDR turns muck into art! Excellent image! (Do you use a tripod, how many frames etc., software? - I really want to try this technique myself. Thanks.

@ivan - Hi Ivan, This image was taken with my compact pocket camera. One photo hand held at -2 to try and keep a bit of the sky that would other wise of been blown out. Processed single image with photomatix, and then tweaked with adobe bridge. Thanks for the positive comment and the question.

Hi Lee, thank you, hand held, that's marvellous, I really don't like using tripods except in the conservatory where I can set it up and leave it, do a number of usually close-ups. Thank you for the very helpful inf. re -2 stops to keep sky detail. I think I will get Photomatix, it seems a good HDR programe, I've seen it mentioned before.

I prefer this one. Some HDR can be overdone, but you seem to manage to get it just right. Looks very dramatic.

This is superb Lee, and the HDR actually adds so much interest.

Beautifully done Lee. I'm a big fan of HDR it can bring a dull image to life. Love the detail here particularly on the tyre. Great image.
