Health, Wealth, and Happiness.

The sixpence, known colloquially as the tanner, was a British pre-decimal coin, worth six (pre-1971) pence.
Traditionally, a silver sixpence was stirred into the christmas pudding mix, to bring the finder wealth and good luck in the year to come.
