Frost on Big Bird

This yellow flower has proven resilient to the effects of several hard frosts that wiped out most of my other flowers. It looked pretty this morning with the sun and the frost on it. My husband walked by as I was posting and said, "That looks like Big Bird!"

For those not familiar with Big Bird, he is a curious 8-foot character that starred on a children's television show called Sesame Street.
