I spotted this little red weed in our community garden. The flowering red part was perhaps 8 inches long and about 1/2 inch in diameter. It would have gone unnoticed but I was on the lookout for something red and this has some amazing tiny details, including itsy bitsy yellow "blooms". It reminds me of a red version of what we call tickle weed. Thanks for viewing!
Beautiful weed/flower!!! I wouldn't mind these growing in my gardens!! I often find that some weeds are more beautiful than the flowers we buy!! This is a beautiful composition and it looks like a mirror flower, in bokeh behind it!! Instant FAV!
Isn't it amazing what you see when you're looking for a shot - things that are right there and might have gone unnoticed. Beautiful detail and dof - do love the color. Looks great on black.
