just harvested

Just wondered how many tons of sugar beets were harvested there. Took this photo on a dull and dreary day. Accidentally the wing mirror became part of the picture. Decided to leave it there...
Best viewed on black.
Het resultaat van een seizoen hard werk. nu hopen dat de prijs goed is.

Allen het fotograferen wordt lastiger met regen. Steeds druppels op je lens terwijl ik ook een regenkapje gebruikt.

Holy mackerel that is a bunch of beets! I didn’t know that you grew them there. My grandparents used to grow them on their farm years ago when I was a child. I love the view on black and I especially like the rearview look in your mirror

Your mirror doesn't take away from you picture. I always thought a sugar-beet is red. a very good size harvest. thanks for sharing.

Yes, I quite like the wing mirror. When we lived in Suffolk, we could sometimes smell the sugar beet factory. it was a horrible smell!

Sugar beet is such a versatile crop, the mainstay of all sorts of cattle feed in various forms plus a nice big load here & I like the car mirror!

@gijsje Thankyou for the app. It is so interesting. We grow Sugar Cane here in Queensland Australia, & so I don't think I have seen Sugar beet growing, though I have been to Europe a few times, sorry to be so ignorant
