Pendle Hill from the canal tow path in Rishton

It was a gloriously sunny morning, with very changeable dramatic weather.
We have been blessed with sun, cloud, rain and hail this morning. In 1652, George Fox had a vision of "a great people to be gathered" and after this, he initiated the Friends of Truth, commonly called the Quaker Movement.
Gorgeous!

Thanks sleeping beauty.
Pendle Hill looks a bit like a sleeping lion.

Thanks Christina, it was a cold and blustery morning with bright sunlight.
I enjoyed a good canal walk.

As a Quaker I was pleased to see a photo of Pendle Hill. Glad you joined 365.

Thanks for your kind comment.
I have been reading a few books about the Friends of Truth.
I come from a Catholic, Christian background.
I felt prompted by Spirit to learn about the Quaker way and I realised I feel at home with most of what they believe.
Truth, Equality Peace, simplicity and community.
I am close to a few Green Party friends and one , Kerry is standing for Hyndburn in the General Election.
