I genuinely enjoy my job...I like what I do and I strive for excellence and the constant develop of my skills and knowledge. Some of the people that I work with are tolerable. When management visits for a couple of days and we are forced to sit down in my office and have a detailed discussion around the "The Six Core Competencies" of my role it is timely to remind ones self that the ability to walk upright and string together a coherent sentence is not classed as one of those Competencies.
For some reason I immediately begin to feel the bile rising, rage flooding through my every fibre and an overwhelming desire to swing into action, chainsaw in hand. No quarter will be given.
On a lighter note, this was processed in Lightroom...my second attempt so apologies if I've made the buggery bollocks out of it!
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
@bill_fe One thing I will say is that we have a pretty cool stationery cupboard. @nordeancanvas Thanks very much @tammyputney The problem is that thre is no way of knowing what will set me off! @longexposure I was trying to be polite for a change... @kt8ird Thank you very much
Well, hopefully getting a little creative with the camera helps that process! Very cool shot, I have just started Lightroom as well, and feel there is a lot I am missing out on.
@jess1204 Thanks very much - I think it's going to take a little bit of getting used to but so far it seems to be very, very good @cailts Thanks very much - that look on my face is purely from trying my hardest to not slide of the very small seat I'm on while I have a chainsaw in one hand!
@voiceprintz Yep, it's really a chainsaw...and I'm really going to use it if I have to hear nay more today about the real Six Core Competencies! And thanks very much
@annied Your head is spinning? Are you going to vomit green soup shortly? Do we need to call an exorcist? What am I saying...you're a woman. Of course we do. ;)
@graemestevens my head was spinning trying to find the appropriate words - your eyebrows are the most evil I think I have seen them and the mouth and jawline - well - you would make the toughest mobster quiver with fear even before adding the chainsaw - green vomit - woman - pleeeeaseeeeeee
Interesting shot yet again - I've given away meetings and concentrate on part-time work so I can avoid them! Besides which, I'm not sure how to start a chainsaw, so it wouldn't be any use!
@dibzgreasley That was the plan...as for the use of the chainsaw, not telling ;) @taffy It was a super day. I loved every minute. ;) @ceilidh Thank you very much...sweet dreams... @shannejw Excellent - take a power tool of your choice! @dide Thanks again...I should be so lucky. On the upside, I can and do use the chainsaw ;)
We have the 6 c's at the moment we're suppose to work to, can't remember what they are but six must be the magic number!! They were sent in a pocket size reminder for easy reference!! I of course have them at hand all the time haha. Great shot, enough detail to see the future, short and painful
@tomtom I never thought of using a pineapple. Might be worth looking into. @andrewkru Thanks very much - good luck with that, I have another 6 months before mine so its something to look forward to. @wearing0 Oh I have no idea what our 6 are...I just wing it. I have other things to remember, like wearing trousers to work! And thank you very much :) @claireuk Thanks very much - I find my tolerance level getting dangerously low these days as well...
@creativefool Thanks very much :) @vignouse Thanks - learning a new operating system and new editing suite at the same time is a bit mind altering but we'll get there! @hermann That's me...rawr ;) @davie Thanks very much :) @gigiflower Each one of those 6 has sub headings and cross references...I feel your pain.... @pittcj17 Thanks very much @newbank I could still kill with a toothbrush... ;) @lynnilou the result of trying to keep my balance on a slippery chair while holding a chainsaw... @roseolivia Thanks very much indeed, pleased to be of assistance ;)
@newbank I could brush someone into submission @denisefuller Thanks very much - those are one of my many pairs of Doc's...the only boot worth booting with
Your photo reflects your sentiments perfectly. A little bit of plain and fancy chainsaw work sounds like an excellent solution to delete that particular irritant from your world.
This photo reflects how I feel just finishing my yearly healthcare compliance training on the computer (at home of course because there isn't time at work)! I don't have a chainsaw though...how about a pocket knife???? Super shot!
@nordeancanvas Thanks very much

I find the older I get my tolerance of people, especially in crowds is waning
