This is the view from our house this morning. I'm sincerely hoping that it bodes well for the rest of the day however, being the eternal optimist that I am, I can almost guarantee that it doesn't. The reason for this surety is that yesterday one of my colleagues informed me that he thought I had something of a "God Complex". How dare he say that unto me.

So... first - lovely shot. The light on the crest of the mountain is amazing. You must have a beautiful house, maybe where tourist buses drive by and point it out to the riders for a fee (this is a joke). Second.... I really enjoy the "smiting" reference. What a view to wake up to.! I do not even live in the suburbs, but suburbia surrounds me, thankfully I do not have your love of sharp objects instead I just bang my head against the wall, hence the nonsense that comes out of my mouth most of the time.
