This is a thing that miraculously appeared in our house over the weekend. I'm not allowed to touch it, burn it, maim it, remove anything from it or even to breath on it. People are rapidly becoming far too happy for my liking.

It might get infested with some kind of bug that could transfer to the dogs - then you would have to torch it in the garden... and, of course, it would be self-defeating to preserve any evidence of this infestation. You could scratch a lot in the following days though - for effect... just sayin' like....
Really lovely processing. Funny I never thought of an animal scull as a tree topper before. This looks ominous and lovely also. After Christmas something will have to be done with it.

I'm not back at home until the 19th December so I guess that is when our tree will go up! I'm going all out this year - even putting up lights on our back fence. I'm the new Mrs Griswald!
