Rocky Ground by graemestevens

Rocky Ground

It has officially become slightly chilly here, with a biting southerly wind chilling us to the bone. I find that I now have to invest in some new shirts as my nipples have torn through all of my old ones (due to the cold, thank you very much).
I suspect that this will be best on black.
Incredible view and the sky is amazing!

Don't think you should be mentioning nipples
July 8th, 2015
I hate it when my nipples ruin my shirts. Another awesome seascape too. Great Rays from the big yellow thing in the sky.
July 8th, 2015
@annied There is rather and I only mean it's bloody cold.
@karlow75 Thanks very much - I often think they should make more affordable kevlar attire...

Great capture, love the textures of the rocks.fav

@lillula Thank you very much, appreciated

As before - seen on the black the light becomes Number One! Must be all that black! You can buy nipple warmers, Graeme!
July 8th, 2015
@maggiemae Thanks very much - or I could wear a jersey...
July 8th, 2015

Cracking shot.

It hurts my feet and toes just to look! You are spoiling us Graham… another fantastic shoreline shot. Fav!
July 8th, 2015
Cool shot
July 8th, 2015
Great shoreline picture. It seems like sunbathing there might be a little harsh.
July 8th, 2015
Graeme, you're a hoot! Lots of great contrasts here with the pebbles and the sun bursting through the dark clouds!
July 8th, 2015
That's it - you've become officially typecast as the 'Moody Seascape Man' - I recognised this as yours straight-away from the TP. Of course a Fav!
July 8th, 2015
Wonderful B&W image - so moody!! Fav!
July 8th, 2015
Lovely capture, Graeme! Love the processing and dramatic clouds. Nice.
July 8th, 2015
Those rocks really provide some excellent textures in the beach, to match the dramatic skies you are having. Very stark and lonely shot (at least, to me). Sorry the cold is rough on your shirts. ;)
July 8th, 2015
This is so great, those rocks look like huge bubbles!
July 8th, 2015
love it!
July 8th, 2015
Outstanding! Love the rays peeking through the clouds.
July 8th, 2015
Great textures and contrast! FAV!
July 9th, 2015
Great pov Graeme, really amps up the cold feeling.

@golftragic Thanks very much - I seem to spend a lot of time on my knees for these shots...
@homeschoolmom Thank you very much, appreciated as always

@susale Thank you very much - maybe I should try and pop them...
@rosiekerr Thanks you very much - stark and lonely is how I roll ;)
@susanalena Thanks very much, always appreciated
@pamknowler Thank you very much indeed :)
@vignouse Damn, i didn't want to be typecast. I do apologise but thank you anyway.
@juliedduncan Thank you very much - I wouldn't say I'm a hoot. It's hardly my fault that all my shirts are ruined.
@bigugly It would be difficult to find a spot unless you cleared up first...
@mindeater Thanks very much :)
@yrhenwr Thank you very much indeed - you do need steel caps on this "beach"
@spanner Thank you kindly sir :)
@dibzgreasley Some of those may have been my nipples...and thank you :)

This reminded the movie by Robin Williams where hell is like this.
July 9th, 2015
@yaorenliu Hell is generally where I am... ;)
