Not really what I had envisaged so it may be time to go back to the drawing board. Then again, I could just stomp my feet and have a tantrum. We shall see.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
I am not qualified to offer critique but would possibly advise against using this as your family Christmas Card. Add a sprinkling of glitter though and you're away! Merry Christmas to you and yours :-)
@pandorasecho Got it in one ;) I didn't turn my collar to the cold and damp either. @motherjane It may not be a wise idea, but then when have I ever been wise?
I do not know your original vision but this turned out to be quite a strong image. Man, very much so! I'd agree though not to use it as a Christmas card; wait till Easter.
@photohoot Either will do... @jocasta Thank you very much :) @happypat Thank you so much - much appreciated @kategoring Thanks very much, just thanks very much ;)
Modesty does not become you so stop being (I nearly said humble) bashful you promised and you have delivered. For effort alone this deserves a fav, which sadly is all I can award you...
This is an incredibly powerful image, but.... what happened to your middle? It looks like your legs were cut off and re-attached with a bit missing. Or is it me who is missing something?
@vignouse That's what I mean when I say not quite what I wanted. Still, plenty of room for improvement and at least my middle ged gut isn't hanging out everywhere! @jack4john Thank you very much...no idea what I'm doing tomorrow though! @tellefella Thanks very much - I might post a pretty little flower tomorrow... @northy I should have done this one at Easter really...
Thats true, end of year, fuddled brain. I think I saw the wine glasses and thought Christmas cheer, I saw the bones and thought the remains of christmas dinner, I saw hands stretched out and thought, more to give.....
@bigugly Thank you very much - it helps to not be sober often... @rosiekerr Thank you very much - I posted it on a Facebook photography page as well and nearly did get executed... @epcello Thank you very much :) @yrhenwr He might do some Christmas shopping today... @mastermek LOL, yep...something like that ;) @bankmann That seem to fit quite nicely...and that you :)
You have a very vivid and wickedly humorous imagination. You're also one of the most photogenic people I've ever seen. Your expressions and body placement, etc. just brings the viewer in - almost like a train wreck where we can't stop staring lol. I absolutely love to see what you come up with time after time and you never fail to disappoint. I also love reading all the comments that people leave on your photos - makes for a great read! I also love that you don't "conform to the norm." Very well done as always, Graeme!
Awesome shot, I do imagine a lot of effort went into making it, even if it's not what you had in mind. And when you have your tantrum, don't forget to hold your breath and go red too (it works for me :)
@karlow75 Thanks very much - it's just not quite right...hey ho, it is what it is. I had a run in with a shop proprietor a few weeks ago that went an horrific shade of red when I repeatedly and politely asked for my money back on a faulty product...it might be more fun to do that again than me having tantrum.
Haha you warned us!! Very cool shot, like it a lot. It is so bizarre and in a good way... if that makes sense. No tantrums allowed, also - have a redo if that's not what you wanted. :)
....to the neon god they made?! I don't quite see you making Santa's Nice List this year.....or, any other year for that matter! Seriously impressive shot!!
I look at this and see the thorn of crowns, with the nail pierced hands, the chains over death and this was done near Christmas time. My thought Jesus was born, to die and break the chains over death. Very intriguing photo.
@motherjane It may not be a wise idea, but then when have I ever been wise?
@gazdi Much better for Easter I think ;)
@jocasta Thank you very much :)
@happypat Thank you so much - much appreciated
@kategoring Thanks very much, just thanks very much ;)
I am horrified - how could you? At this time of year?
I am going to report you to the Christmas Elves!
not sure what your vision was but I would happily hang this next to my Neon Last Supper :)
@ziggy75 He was too bright, had to be disposed of in a suitably gruesome manner.
@annied The trouble is, they're used to my...peculiarities, shall we say...
@amandal Quite literally ;)
@jack4john Thank you very much...no idea what I'm doing tomorrow though!
@tellefella Thanks very much - I might post a pretty little flower tomorrow...
@northy I should have done this one at Easter really...
:/:Now it’s Christmas again:/:
:/:And Christmas lasts all the way to Easter:/:
You are as (almost) always, wonderfully disturbing...
@rosiekerr Thank you very much - I posted it on a Facebook photography page as well and nearly did get executed...
@epcello Thank you very much :)
@yrhenwr He might do some Christmas shopping today...
@mastermek LOL, yep...something like that ;)
@bankmann That seem to fit quite nicely...and that you :)
@not_left_handed Thank you very much - far too kind...and what is this "normal" of which you speak? ;)
