The Cure have always been one of my favourite bands, and the album that this song came from, Disintegration, seemed to form a large part of the soundtrack of my youth. Funny how some music sticks with you.

a daughter and I tried so so so hard to get tickets to the upcoming disintegration tour, but no luck boohoohoo - we did go see them together about 10 years ago I think. I have several albums still on vinyl :)
last time we went, her partner at the time looked exactly like a young Robert Smith and he went all out at hair dresser and all to go in character. We all dressed up, and I was happy to play, til I discovered we were taking public transport and there we all were on a bus in Brisbane happy as can be ... such fun :)
