the storm

Taken on my morning walk - it's that time of year when we're getting a bit of drama along our coast in the form of storms and squalls.
I have the sort of malfunctioning brain that often works in song titles and lyrics, so when ever someone mentions a storm I automatically go to the chorus of one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite artists, so despite the fact that this song, called "The Storm", has very little to do with the weather, here it is anyway:

I've seen these guys a number of times live and they remain rather fabulous.
It does have distinct drama!

Very suitably gloomy and dramatic, quite appropriate for these dark times.

The massive boulders on the shore pair well with the foreboding stormy sky. Great in black and white, and maybe it was b&w to begin with.

Ah, yes, you and Big Country! And since we're veering off topic, here's a little something something for you to watch : https://twistedsifter.com/videos/comedian-explains-pandemic-to-her-past-self

Her last comment, "so, what do you know about big cats?" was in reference to a netflix show called "joe exotic" which everyone is watching while in quarantine for some bizarre reason. https://www.menshealth.com/entertainment/a31819602/who-is-joe-exotic-tiger-king-netflix

@juliedduncan Thank ya ma'am :)
@blueberry1222 Yes, we've been watching that as well - we started watching because we had no idea what anyone was on about. 4 episodes in and it's car crash television but oddly addicitve.
@helenhall At the moment that all depends on which way I happen to be walking- a lot of our beaches are shut down, complete with barricades, so this one was actually taken at the Port rather than a beach.
@pdulis Thank you very much :)
@domenicododaro Thank you so much - I do like a bit of ominous ;)
@lyndamcg Thanks very much :)

That seems more like a special function of your brain than a malfunction. Beautiful capture of the cloud drama. Thanks for participating in our darkroom challenge.
