death becomes her by graemestevens

death becomes her

Another day with little time - there's a fair amount of prep to be done when our people are coming to Casa Stevens for frivolity, skullduggery and other assorted "uggery's"....it does not bode well for the state of one's brain-pan on the morrow but 'tis I price I will pay for the joy of good company and laughter.
👌👌👌

So... you set up the skull and think... “it’s missing a certain je ne said quoi” and add in the flower?🤣

@northy ...pretty much... ;)
@pdulis That's one way of putting it ;)
@taffy Thanks very much :)
@joemuli Thanks you kindly :)

That flower would be nothing without that skull

Enjoy your weekend of company! This reminded me of the great late Georgia O"Keeffe...but a bit darker. :)

Looks like an O'Keeffe on a really dark day. Enjoy the duggeries--be safe!

@joysabin She does, we did ;)
@jacqbb I think we did...not to clear on the details... ;)
@pistache I'm just waiting on the written report ;)
@haskar I think Ferdinand was on to something ;)
@jamibann Thank you very much :)
@aikiuser That's pretty much what I was aiming for ;)
@gardenfolk I like it a bit darker though ;)
@kjarn That's why I put the skull there...

impressive processing and nice story
fav

A real contradiction with the hardness of the skull, the softness of the flower and the delicacy of the cobweb

good company and laughter is worth a heavy price (not sure about all the uggery's though). Skull and carnation - such an obvious combination if only I had thought about it. But, you make all things work well together.

@helenhall Thank you very much - I shall proceed to blush in 3...2...1
@fbailey All intentional of course.... ;))
@jerome Thanks very much :)

May you fully enjoy the uggeries
July 12th, 2020
@jgpittenger They were a thing of beauty, awesome to behold...or so they tell me...
July 12th, 2020
Mmmm, I didn't think posting flowers was your thing. On the other hand the skull sure is. My brain-pan can't cope.

@golftragic Mines in a right mess as well...
July 12th, 2020
@graemestevens Seems to be a lot of that going round right now.
