11.43 am: More trees today. We went for a walk in Meijendel, a dune area near The Hague. It's a fairy-like place with a lot of odd-shaped trees.
I didn't take many photos as a) both girls demanded a lot of attention and had rather short fuses b) the weather was grey with low skies and dim light and all the shots came out somewhat wishy washy.
I liked the composition of this shot so I boosted the colours a bit. Oddly enough the grass turned an orange shade instead of the faded greens and browns of the original shot, while the other colours stayed more or less the same.
@simplycathi I agree it looks more like fall than winter. We had a lot of snow at the end of fall that stayed for over a month, and after it melted all the dead leaves were still there.
@elisabeth Thank you so much! I looked up this poem and it's absolutely beautiful.
@gijsje Het is er echt heel mooi! Misschien kunnen we er eens heen als jullie hier zijn.
This is gorgeous! Perspective, processing, and composition. Thank you for the follow and comment yesterday. So thankful it led to the introduction of your stunning work.

@araminta @5unflow3r @petra @deniseescovino @sparkle @jkovac @staciehighland Thank you all! Winding paths like this one really appeal to the imagination :)
