Time

8.36 pm: The 50s clock on our mantelpiece, an heirloom from my husband's paternal grandparents.

Relentless rain again today. My parents visited which was a welcome distraction as both my children aren't feeling well. Our eldest complained of an earache and our youngest is cutting two teeth and two molars at the same time which is causing her a great deal of discomfort.

De meisjes kwakkelen nog steeds dus zware tijden hier. @smallenburg Doorgaans staat er iets meer troep op de schoorsteenmantel, de enige plek waar beide meisjes (nog) niet bij kunnen...
