5.28 pm: My daughters in our backyard, busying themselves with watering the plants and removing weeds. We've been having quite nice spring weather and our garden is turning green very fast now.
My eldest is now exactly twice as old as my youngest - 34 versus 17 months! Only happens once in a lifetime. At the moment they are very fond of each other. My eldest even wants to marry her sister :)
So cute! Love the little curls. Sophie and I will be on "stick duty" soon in our yard, since we are surrounded by several tall oak trees. I'm glad that you are having such lovely spring weather. :-) Cool "math" equation
I love this shot! How do you do it? A lot of us would make this as a candid, but you made a beautiful picture out of it! Dus geen kiekje, maar een echte foto!
@5unflow3r You'll probably have a lot of leaves in your garden in fall! Oak trees are very beautiful. @geertje Dank je! Het lage perspectief en de editing maken deze foto tot wat hij is :) @petra Dank je @judithg Thanks! We got the bird box this winter, but we haven't had that many feathered visitors. @lislee75 Mine were the very unhappy pair too until recently! Pushing and high pitched screaming galore. It goes in stages here. The current stage is definitely much more pleasant than the last one :)
this is a beautiful photograph. I love the color. You can tell it is Spring time in this photo. Do you use any special program for the coloring of your photographs?
@kmwilliams I use the free version of Picnik for almost all my editing. I usually boost the colours and/or contrast and I often apply a slight colour filter (tint or lomo or cross process).
@halkia Yes, lots of leaves in the fall, and we've learned the hard way to ignore them until spring....if you rake them up in the fall, there are just as many in on the ground after winter! I'm looking forward to showing my giant oak trees when they're green!

@hamble Good one! But that will take a while..
