Waiting

5.24 pm: The Hague Central Station - a father and daughter patiently waiting on the platform, surrounded by commuters hurrying to catch their trains.

I had a rather hectic day at work. Things are back to normal after two very quiet weeks.

What a great find! I don't think that I would notice the still people in a crowd like this to photograph. Great job---love the blur of movement vs. how crisp and clear the still people are. It also worked in your favor that the moving people are wearing darker clothes than the still people. :-) fabulous!

@smallenburg Ik had mijn camera op de auto-stand staan! Had toevallig net ergens anders een foto van gemaakt en had het toestel nog in mijn hand. De sluitertijd was 0.125 sec (1/8). En nee, niet gevraagd of ze wilden blijven staan. Het was echt een lucky shot :)
