The title of this collage sums up my day! I climbed a 75 meters tall crane (276 feet) in my high heels late this evening and even got to operate it.
I had some time to kill when I arrived at the station after work because I had just missed my train. I used it by taking some photos of the major construction activities that have been going on for several years now at the station. The builders liked my interest in their work and invited me inside of the crane! I was kitted out with a fluorescent vest and a helmet and up we went :)
The view wasn't that spectacular because of the quite heavy fog that was rising but it didn't really matter, as there was more than enough to take in already. I left with an invitation to come back so who knows I'll go up again in better weather.
