Buried Wagon Wheel by harbie

Buried Wagon Wheel

This wagon wheel is a decoration in one of the acreage yards near our house. I liked how it was half buried in the snow. To me, there is such a cold, desolate look to this photo. Reminds me of the wagon trains traveling out West and being stuck in the deep snow! Best on black. You know me....I love the dried grasses. Thank you for your views, comments, and faves for "Snowy Branches." :)! I am catching up on viewing.
I wouldn't have known that it was a decoration except for your explanation. I think is quite suggestive of a story.

Almost like the pioneers had to leave it behind!

Great composition! It does look cold and desolate and brings to mind the pioneers in their covered wagons!

Nice old wagon wheel, the bush in the opposite corner kind of resembles the wheel.
