Ben and I spent this morning recovering from last night's sickness, and although we both still feel a little delicate we are much better. We left it right till the last minute to decide whether we were going to go into Birmingham to the theatre. Ben had been looking forward to seeing Georges Marvellous Medicine for ages, counting down the days, but a sudden bout of sickness and the threat of heavy show left us unsure what to do. In the end we decided to risk it. We were both feeling rather better, and the worst of the snow was forecast for later, so off we went with Granny into town.
It was bitterly cold but there was no snow when we went in, however when we came out a fair amount had fallen and the roads were slowing considerably. The journey home was uneventful, but I borrowed Ben's camera and tried to capture the murkiness of the conditions. Almost every image was blurred due to low light, bumpy snow covered roads and smeared car windows, and, whilst far from perfect, this is one of the better ones.
