Old Blue Eyes

(Self Portrait #1). Amazing what you can do with a cheap ring flash, a macro lens, and the need to take a photo in not much time before the day is over. I was surprised by the amount of detail in the iris and the tiny blood vessels, especially on the full sized image.

Not happy, I'd done the same shot for tonight. But yours is better. Now need to go find something else to shoot. That was a wasted 20 minutes. :)

I have never done a decent eye shot with so much detail, so just had to use it!
