Thought I would have a go at doing a macro stack having seen some very nice examples, so purchased a cheapy focus rail off ebay and gave it ago. This sea shell is only about 1cm across. The image is made up of 8 'slices' of focus. Not too bad for a first attempt, however I think I started slightly too far back as there is a patch that is not sharp that is closest to the front. I will have to experiment some more.
I fancy trying a dandelion clock next, if I can find one that is not disturbed after today's wind.
