Blimey. For a moment I thought we were going to be washed away. There was an almost simultaneous crash of thunder and flash of lightning. The power all went off for a moment, and then the heavens opened. Our drive almost became a lake, which is no mean feat considering how steep it is, and then a few minutes later it all stopped and it returned to standard issue June drizzle.
Balmy June? Barmy June more like!
