Amazing what a difference a good clean can make (see yesterday's photo for the 'before' shot). And looking remarkably good considering nine years of neglect. I hope the mechanical side of things works out as well.
Next Job - get a working battery for it so we can see what state the engine is in, and sort out the brakes, so we can actually stop without diving for the handbrake. Oh and we need an MP3 compatible radio too. :-)
@annemary Basically two children, time and energy. Additionally it was stored in a council lockup so there was also a touch of 'out of sight, out of mind' in the mix too.
