Every Spring since we bought our house almost 12 years ago, a lone Daffodil would bloom in the woods in that nebulous, unused area near - maybe over - the property line. My guess is that someone way back when tossed out an old basket of Easter flowers at some point, and the Daffodil's found a snug home amongst the leaves. I have also noticed that over the years, the number of flowers has grown and we had the highest total yet this year with 5. I love how they look like a United Front out in the woods. It is sort of like my family. We found our snug home here too and expanded accordingly.... :-)
