I am so sorry for your loss, Helen. Losing a loved one is always so difficult . . . this wonderful quote highlights a special spirit of thankfulness which provides such a nice perspective of celebrating a loved one's life.

@helenacharles the flowers were indeed very pretty @gaylewood@rosiekind@daisyditch yes a very sad loss after a few very difficult weeks but now is the time to retrieve the fond memories and be thankful. @tristansmum we had a lot of rain and some of the flowers got damaged overnight in the frost. So I am glad I had my camera with me to capture this shot whilst the roses were still good.
