In our neighbourhood we have a community herb garden. There are a couple of beds in the centre of a roundabout that are given over to herbs, tended to be volunteers from the community and available for anyone to pick and use for their own culinary purposes.
Today I decided to stop by and see if I could make anything a subject for the current macro challenge. Much more my comfort zone than people in crowds.
I'm wavering between the sage, mint and the fennel, but sage has won because of its texture.
I'm struggling to keep up with all the photos. So sorry if I have missed yours over the last few days - I think I need a more systematic way of checking in with you all - it is a bit random!
I haven't peered at a sage leaf so closely before. It is beautiful. Like the idea of community garden. BTW, my commenting is random also. sometimes life gets in the way. People understand.
Wow, what a macro!! Wonderful textures showcased here... And no worries about "catching up" - I think most of us have those times were we must post to keep up with our own projects but do not always have time to look... :)
Don't stress about keeping up with commenting, we all know what it is like. Just pop in when you are able.
Fabulous close up shot.
