Tent Takeover begins ....

I have just posted an album on facebook entitled the Advance of the River Festival. It is remarkable how much the area has changed in the last 24 hours. Tent takeover is now well underway and soon there will be no green space unoccupied by tents, stages, port-a-loos, vehicles or trailers, The luminous orange of traffic cones, hi-viz vests and barriers dominates every view and there is rain. Oh yes, we couldn't have a river festival without rain. Think something resembling Glastonbury.

But the council are taking no risks and were to be seen - this morning - watering the newly bedded plants so as to ensure a spectacular floral display for the weekend.

This is a very interesting, more abstract photo - I like it! I am late commenting as I haven't been able to be as active on 365 as I'd like to be the past few days - but I'm glad I started chronologically as the tale of your observation of your town's transformation is very interesting!

very interesting abstract, indeed! a little bit of cloning out the rings and a crop at the top and you have a great abstract to print and hang on your wall!
