There were so many 'nearly but not quite' in my collection today. Lots of golden colour and ice, but my captures all seemed to have an annoying feature or omission - or simply too many lifebelts and dog litter bins in view. So in the end I have selected this more classical shot from my morning 'on golden pond' collection.
This is beautiful Helen, what a view you had... I like the bamboo silhouette in the foreground, popping against the water (I think that's bamboo?). I am surprised at the lighting at that time of day, your time stamp says 9:54 am but it looks much earlier to me :) regardless this is beautiful.
