At some point during the afternoon on Saturday, I swapped places with my husband in the Stanley Spencer museum in Cookham - once he had returned from a car parking drama. The lady selling tickets caught something of the family disarray and rather tactfully suggested that I might be eligible for the 'carers' entrance charge, seeing as my father does rather give the impression of needing looking after. She also seemed to sense something of my need for 5 mins peace and was happy to transfer the caring ticket to a.n. other!
So, I popped around the corner in the beautiful sunshine and absorbed the scents and sounds in the churchyard setting, whilst enjoying some floral captures with my camera.
it gladdens the heart when folk reach out and help - in whatever way..
