Introducing Wrest Park Tea House

In my ten minute slot today, I needed to come up with an advertisement. This afternoon, I took my Dad to our local museum and we spent a while looking at the work of Edward Bawden. I had forgotten how much I liked his lithographic work. I had this idea to produce an advertisement for Bedford in a similar style, but I have no idea how to convert a photo to a lithographic look. So, I have gone for the more traditional look of posters used by tourist boards in the Victorian era.

Apologies for digging into the archives to find a photo that would work. Anyway, it is good to move on from yesterday's debacle.
Works for me Helen.

It works so well. I would take this along to Wrest Park and ask if they want to use it for their adverts.

This is nicely done and I like the idea of having to swim for afternoon tea!
:-) ...... I'm sure some Victorians would have been game for that!

What a lovely shot and a nice effect, kind of soothing on the eyes.

I think this is beautifully done and works well for the goal you had in mind. I'm not sure which programs have an effect that looks like a lithograph but I would venture to guess that most of them do- it's probably misnamed as "sketch" or something. At any rate, I like your processing here and am ready to visit for tea!
