“It's my world, and I don't want any other. What it hasn't got is not worth having, and what it doesn't know is not worth knowing.”
The Wind in the Willows - Kenneth Graeme
The weekly theme from the 52 week challenge this last week - Vision: Classic Novel
Create an image that identifies a classic novel or story.
A bit of a weak offering, and a last minute 'plan b' option.
I may need to take a break for a few days this week. I don't want to , but it is looking like the sensible option. Apologies in advance, I will miss your photos.
ah only just saw this for some reason. i hope you're okay and look forward to when you can post again. there's a slightly mournful gentleness about this image for me
@fbailey thank you for your kind words. I hope to be back soon. @toinette Hi Marie - thank you Im glad you found it calming. @caterina thanks Caterina for your comment and the FAV much appreciated @maggiemae thanks - not gone completely, I will be back @pdulis thanks Peter @bkbinthecity thank you for the comment :) @haskar thank you very much @ivan glad you found it peaceful - thanks @naomi thanks Naomi - that is what I like so much about the willow trees when their branches reach the water. @chimfa thank you kindly Jane. @suzanne234 thanks Suzanne @redandwhite thank you - yes, so much better when they have not just been 'trimmed' @taffy we have a number along the river down the end of our road. They are so lovely except when the council give them a drastic hair cut. @jerome the calmness has to be drawn out of the busy town river front. But it is there. @pistache Clare. Im OK.thank you. After taking last week off, Im wondering how I will ever claw the time back to post again. But I will! @granagringa - I look forward to retirement when I tell myself that I can indulge more in the project. But I have a few years yet! Thank you for your kind comment. @carolmw Thank you Carol. Much appreciated.
@helenhall I realize now that you want to pause for a few days. What motivations you have... I'll probably do something similar soon.
I miss your pleasant presence, your beautiful thoughts, your empathetic nature.
