The excitement of arrival in Bethlehem, no matter how late, always necessitates a wander around to re-familiarise ourselves.
We were pleased to find that the Church of the Nativity has finally shed its scaffolding. As it happens - both inside and out - such that the tower is looking handsome once more, and some of the beautiful murals being restored can now be seen.
