Bethlehem Street

Our base for our stay was Bethlehem. A town that is little explored by tourists who are frequently told how dangerous it is.

This couldn't be further from the truth. A friendlier place would be hard to find.

@olivetreeann Bethlehem - where Jesus was born. It is actually in the occupied Palestinian territories - not part of Israel.

@helenhall Well, that is a matter of political view- which I keep off of 365 as everyone is entitled to an opinion and it's too hard to convey respect towards opinions and still voice one's perspective through just the typed word. I've studied a lot of history, a lot of the Bible and have been there several times, so I'm not saying this lightly- and neither side has been perfect in their dealings with one another. So I won't open a can of worms- and apologize for the mini stand on the soap box!
