Penrose tiling

At the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford.

Call me geeky but ... this is the most beautiful expanse of tiling ever: a tessellating but non-repeating pattern of tiles constructed from two types of granite with arcs of stainless steel between them. Named after the British mathematician, Roger Penrose, who developed them.
A mathematician's delight! Love the boots too ;-) A definite fav
