Adrift In A Sea Of Nettles

This old chair was sitting in the nettle patch in the corner of our field when we first bought. I walk past it every day I've never got round to moving it. I think it looks quite comfortable there really - I mean the chair itself is comfortable, not that it would be comfortable to sit on it. Especially not in shorts. Youch!
that is definitely an abandoned chair. great find!

I really like it!! It seems to have a special relationship with the nettle ;-))

You would have to be pretty desperate to sit down!

Ouch! Looks very uncomfortable to me, but very nicely abandoned

Beware of the nettle!

We had a nursery nearby that took old furniture and made flower beds out of seats of chairs, etc. This looks totally suited to that! I love scrappy painted objects with lots of weathering... Very suited to a garden...even nettles!

Beautiful shot. It does look like a comfy chair - if you can move it in the winter. :-)

Like that....you could make nettle soup with the fresh leaves.
