Cake-ball-mallets

We invited some neighbors who helped with Nadya's marimba project either by lending power tools or giving her work for baby- and dog-sitting.
I made some snacks and for the kids the cake-ball-mallets were a big hit ;)
These were left over - but will be gone soon!
This is a great shot Ingrid, fav. I like how you have the sweets in the glass and a real pair on the table and the marimba in the background. I am curious to know how you made them and what the ingredients were?

@stephanies Thank you for the fav! The cake-balls are simple to make, but a little labor intensive... First you bake a cake and let it cool down. Then crumble the cake and add ready made frosting in order to get a dough. Make the balls. The use "Candy Melts" - don't think you have them in the UK ( https://www.google.com/search?q=candy+melts&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8) - to add the ball to a stick and cover it.
