Tonight the local High School had another game. My youngest and I helped the band to bring the big stuff (marimbas etc) to the stadium and spotted the buses of the opponent. They needed only 5 buses to transport the football players, band, dancers and cheerleaders - so to us that is a small school.
After the band played during half time we left and it was 35-0 for us... Apparently strength does come from numbers.
Goodness me, 35-0 at half time, that sounds loads, but I don't know what a typical half time score is for USA football. Do you know what the full time score was?
It's 6 points per touch down and 1 point if they kick the ball through the bars so compared to UK football (soccer here) it would be about 5-0. I believe it ended in 49-0 @stephanies
