When the weather was beautiful again, the houses in our street were still badly flooded. We have been lucky because the water stopped 3 houses down from us!
As the only family living in the street, we became canoe storage, restroom and supplied (not so cold) drinks (didn't have electricity).
Here my son helps a neighbor to get to his house to have a look.
