Wadi Shab by ingrid01

Wadi Shab

...is one of the most popular/touristic Wadis in Oman. It is about 2 hours drive from our house. We visited in December 2019, but were late and could not really explore, so we finally went it again.
There were many tourists, so I had to wait to let groups pass. At the right bottom you still see a man, but I like him there so you have a feeling for scale.

The wall you see is a "falaj". These are ancient water channels (500 AD), often still in use!

Hi Ingrid, lovely to see one of your Omani landscape shots ☺️ And I agree, the figure on the right gives a good sense of scale

This is amazing to see! I, too, like the perspective of the man to show the expansive scale!
