We spotted this little bird when we were walking along the beach this afternoon.
I had to look it up in the bird book when I got home because I wasn't sure what it was, but I knew I hadn't seen one before.
Snow buntings are a winter visitor to the UK from the Arctic, it never ceases to amaze me how birds travel such great distances. They're usually seen on the east coast so it's quite a rare sight here on the west coast.
