Another stroll around DTLA at lunch led me (on the advice of my son) to The Last Bookstore, a downtown icon and tribute to the enduring desire to lose oneself in and physically experience books rather than surrender and go sailing down the Amazon. The new, the old, the inspiring, the eclectic, the artistic, the subversive, and the forgotten are all here . . . waiting just beyond the porthole.
At this arrangement of books there was certainly no dearth of photographers (there were several along with me) but I managed a clear shot.
