Barcino by jborrases

Barcino

This is the nativity representation from the point of view of the ancient Barcino, founded by the Caesar Augustus Emperor on 15 bC. The Three Kings arrive to the shore guided by a star that lights their path from the Mediterranean Sea. You can see the Mons Taber hill and many other constructions still standing from this era like the great wall, the Temple of Augustus, the aqueduct, and the Roman villa. An agricultural Barcino involved in the production of wine and oil. Maybe not the better vantage point, due to the distribution of the figurines.
Lovely scene!

How fascinating.

This presentation looks quite big. I think our two countries have many things in common. There are many Maltese people who make presentations of the nativity scenes and make them open to the public. Very often they dedicate a whole garage for their work.

@kporte @altadc @yaorenliu @joansmor thank you very much. Barcelona is a city full of contrasts. The nativity scene in one side, a shop with years of history that will close soon.
@sangwann thank you very much. I think that Mediterranean people have a lot of things in common. By the otherside maybe both countries exchanged traditions when Malta formed part of the Aragón Crown. I agree with that sometimes I've seen similarities between both countries.
@anazad511 Muchas gracias Ana. Yo lo veo un pelín mascarada para " desviarnos " de la realidad. ;).
@roseolivia thank you very much
