Saw these beautiful cows on a chilly cycle ride through Tichborne. Many had very striking creamy-coloured manes. Does anyone know what breed they are? I shall look forward to seeing how their calves turn out.
@madwill Thanks, it looks as if they are. Apparently Herefords with the white manes are not the modern type. I also discovered that their horns can be made to point downwards by hanging weights on them as they grow. Now that would make a good photo!
